Block Party and Parade!

Dear Alumni:
The City of DeLand and the Downtown Merchants of our City Beautiful are rolling out the red carpet for the DHS Football Team.  On Saturday, January 16, the City will host a ticker tape parade to honor our record setting season.  Parade time will be 2:00.  Following the parade, there will be a Bulldog Block Party on Indiana Avenue complete with a formal program to recognize our outstanding accomplishments.  Downtown restaurants will be having special deals, there will be a DJ, and in general there will be one big celebration.  If your club or organization would like to be a part of the parade (similar to our annual homecoming parade), please contact Judy Dunn at 386-822-6909, extension 23371 or fax the parade application to Judy at 386-822-6556.  There is no entry fee for this event.
